For as long as there have been golfers, there have been those who measure success and golf ability not by what one scores, but by how far one hits the ball. The International Long Drive Championship Series is an exciting 26 episode “Made for Television” golf series profiling the world’s most powerful hitters and long ball teams, in an internationally sanctioned and approved competition format.
Professional and/or amateur golfers advance from hundreds of fully serviced local qualifying events sanctioned by Golf Long Drivers International (GLDI). Local Qualifying, Nationals and Regional Championship events are staged at golf courses and practice facilities in several countries worldwide. Winners from local qualifying then proceed to their countries Championship Final, the crown jewel in the National Team selection process for men, women and senior men. Each countries national team comprises of 5 hitters, 3 men, 1 woman and 1 senior man who compete in divisional classifications and collectively as a national team.
The GLDI sanctioned competition process is governed internationally enabling all participants an equal and fair chance to represent their countries National Team and compete in a series of World Tour and Regional Championship television shows and events leading up to the International Long Drive Championship finals the grand slam in the sport of long drive.
Annually, Iceman Productions™ produces a 26 episode golf series with broadcast packages built in modules personalized to accommodate our partnered network commitments globally. Syndication is an on-going internal process delivering maximum consumer viewership internationally or in specific broadcast regions.
The International Long Drive Championships is an exciting “Made for Television” golf series profiling the world’s top male, female and senior long ball hitters and their respective national teams competing in an internationally sanctioned long drive competition format. The competition is open to both professional and amateur golfers and is action packed with teams around the world chosen from local qualifying events. The series features an assortment of head-to head competitions not only between individuals but also between nations in the Team Sport division filmed in multiple locations annually.
